Sell with Confidence.

Buying a used car is risky. It is natural for buyers to be skeptical of the condition of the car, especially when just about everyone knows someone that has been burned buying a used car. As a seller, getting a Bluestar inspection done on your vehicle will give transparency to potential buyers and give you confidence in the condition of the vehicle. It will help you sell your car faster and at a potentially higher value.

When all categories are marked as “Acceptable”

The inspection report will be uploaded within 24 hours to BlueStar.com for potential buyers to access with the vehicle’s VIN. The BlueStar Inspection Report will remain accessible for 60 days for private individuals and six months (or 200 miles) for dealerships.

When you have categories marked “Needs Attention”

Sellers may choose to have the BlueStar Inspection Report posted as is, or to complete the necessary repairs (with any mechanic you choose) prior to posting the BlueStar Inspection Report. When the repairs have been completed, simply bring the vehicle back to the BlueStar Certified Inspection Station within the 60-day/200 miles active report period to verify the completed repairs, and to update the BlueStar Inspection Report. The BlueStar Inspection Report will remain accessible for 60 days for private individuals and six months (or 200 miles) for dealerships from the date of the original inspection. Please note: The BlueStar Certified Inspection Station may charge a fee up to a maximum of $50 for the re-inspection based on the complexity of the repair verification.
